At the TUV SUD National Engineering Laboratory we have installed a world-first facility for testing and calibrating domestic gas meters for hydrogen service, both pure hydrogen and blends with natural gas, in accordance with OIML R-137, and have developed a portable primary standard for testing hydrogen refuelling stations for dispensed quantity at the nozzle in accordance with OIML R-139.TÜV SÜD has experience over the whole value chain of hydrogen and life cycle of hydrogen technologies. We take our experience across safety-critical sectors (oil & gas, nuclear, aerospace & defence, medical, etc) and apply it to the clean energy sector.
