about the course
There are significant safety issues to be considered, both for the operators of the diverse "Rigging" devices and for workers in proximity to them. Rigging equipment for material handling shall be inspected before use on each shift and as necessary to ensure that it is safe. Each day before using the sling and all fastenings and attachments shall be inspected for damage or defects by a competent person designated by the employer. Safe Rigging and Slinging helps an organisation achieve its obligations to fulfill legal requirements and Operational Control requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
