About the course
There are significant safety issues to be considered, both for the operators of the diverse "lifting" devices and workers in proximity to them. Rigging equipment for material handling needs to be inspected before use on each shift to ensure safety. Each day before using the sling and all fastenings and attachments shall be inspected for damage or defects by a competent person designated by the employer. Rigging and Lifting Safety helps an organisation achieve its obligations to fulfill legal requirements and Operational Control requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
