The NEBOSH International Diploma builds on the content covered in the NEBOSH International General Certificate.


Course Objective

On completion of each unit, delegates should be able to demonstrate their understanding of the domain knowledge covered through:
1. The application of knowledge to familiar and unfamiliar situations; and
2. The critical analysis and evaluation of information presented in both quantitative and qualitative forms
N.B. Each element will have additional specific learning outcomes.

Unit IC: Workplace and Work Equipment Safety

  • IC1: Workplace welfare requirements and specific workplace issues

Unit DNI: Application of Health and Safety In the Workplace

  • Unit DNI consists of a written assignment set by NEBOSH (designed to demonstrate the application of the knowledge you have gained through units one to three of the course) and is approximately 8,000 words in length. Submission dates for Diploma assignments are in February, May, August and November each year.


The course employs a variety of training tools such as digital learning, tests, and other interactive exercises to enhance delivery of theoretical knowledge.


The NEBOSH International Diploma is split into 4 units which are assessed individually
The classroom course is 6 weeks long – 3 units of 10 days each
There are 3 half day exams

      Access period may be adjusted for B2B customers depending on what was agreed in the contract. For B2C customers, access runs only for 30 days.
