Qualifying People - Developing Future
The NEBOSH International Diploma is the qualification to aspire to if you are seeking a successful long-term career in health and safety. You will also become recognised as a professional in your field anywhere in the world. The NEBOSH International Diploma builds on the content covered in the NEBOSH International General Certificate.
On completion of each unit, delegates should be able to demonstrate their understanding of the domain knowledge covered through:
1. The application of knowledge to familiar and unfamiliar situations; and
2. The critical analysis and evaluation of information presented in both quantitative and qualitative forms
N.B. Each element will have additional specific learning outcomes.
Unit IA: Managing Health and Safety
Unit IB: Hazardous Substances/ Agents
Unit IC: Workplace and Work Equipment Safety
Unit DNI: Application of Health and Safety In the Workplace
The course employs a variety of training tools such as digital learning, tests, and other interactive exercises to enhance delivery of theoretical knowledge.
The NEBOSH International Diploma is split into 4 units which are assessed individually
The classroom course is 6 weeks long – 3 units of 10 days each
There are 3 half day exams
The NEBOSH International Diploma is the qualification for aspiring health and safety professionals building directly upon the foundation of knowledge provided by the NEBOSH International General Certificate. It is designed to provide students with the expertise – wherever in the world they may be working – required to undertake a career as a safety and health practitioner.
