ABOUT THE COURSE

TÜV SÜD South Asia organises a 2-day Internal auditor training program based on FSSC 22000 Ver 6.0 standards

This Internal auditor training program is structured to provide an overall understanding of ISO 22000:2018 food safety management system requirements, Sector specific prerequisite program (PRPs) requirements (ISO/TS 22002-x-series or other specific PRP standard) and FSSC 22000 Additional requirements.

This 2-day course will be conducted by our experienced auditors and tutors, who have audited and provided training to numerous organisations from diverse industries. They will share their experiences and knowledge on this standard requirement.

The 2-day training will be blended training; some topics will be covered through e-learning and others through online/virtual or classroom training.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of this program, the delegate will be able to:

  • To understand the concept of Risk-based thinking for any organization in the food chain
  • To provide participants with an overview of the requirements of ISO 22000:2018 standards + ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 + FSSC 22000 additional requirements
  • Food Industry categorization as per ISO 22003-1:2022
  • To provide participants with an overview of the requirements of sector specific PRPs and  
  • To understand FSSC 22000 additional requirements viz food defense, food fraud, EMP program, allergen management, food safety & quality culture, equipment management, and meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • To understand the documented information requirements based on ISO 22000:2018 standards, documented procedure, documents and records required as per this standard
  • To understand the ISO 19011 standards and interpret them to auditing requirements

PREREQUISITES

  • The ISO 22000:2018 will be provided on E-learning platform, to be completed prior to the course
  • Prior knowledge on ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, PRP’s as per ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 is essential
  • Prior knowledge on applicable statutory and regulatory requirements for your product / service and location

Note: -

ISO 19011:2018 Audit Management guidelines as per ISO 19011:2018 will be delivered through E-learning platform, which must be completed prior to taking the final examination

EXAM DETAILS (DURATION, PATTERN)

  • Participants will be assessed through a 50 marks objective type examination (open book) at the end of the course
  • Minimum passing% criteria: 60%. (30 Marks)

CERTIFICATION

  • TÜV SÜD certificate of “Internal Auditor training program on FSSC 22000 Ver 6.0” will be issued to participants only after successful completion based on performance during the course and in written examination
  • Others who have not successfully completed the course will be issued a certificate of attendance
