TÜV SÜD South Asia in association with BRCGS organize 1-day course on BRCGS standard – Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9.0.: Conversion for sites.

This course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the revisions of the Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9, as well as a review of new audit protocol. It is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the changes to the Standard on site.

Issue 9, published in August 2022, and the requirements continue to evolve from previous issues, with a strong emphasis on management commitment, food safety culture, a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)-based food safety programme and supporting quality management system, etc.

Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRCGS Bookshop.

This program is structured to provide an overall understanding as per BRCGS Food Safety Issue 9.0 requirements with the aid of tutor led sessions, interactions and relevant examples.

Course objectives:

At the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the aims of the BRCGS scheme
  • Explain how to meet the requirements if the Standard
  • Describe what to expect from your BRCGS audit
  • Recognize the changes to the protocol of the Standard
  • Utilize and understand the benefits of the BRCGS resources
  • Identify and explain the changes to the Standard from Food Safety Issue 8

Evaluation:

Online exam with 25 questions and pass mark 60%.

BRCGS would issue certificate of “Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9.0: Conversion for sites”

Prior Requirements; -

The delegates should have attended BRCGS Food Safety Issue 8.0 Lead Auditor program or BRCGS Foods Safety Issue7.0 to 8.0 Sites conversion program.

Delegates must have a prior working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector, and have completed a hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) course of at least two days' duration.
