MEET THE SPEAKER

Mr. Raman Talwar

Mr. Raman Talwar is a winner of the National Entrepreneurship Award (NEA-2017) from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Over a decade of his being at the helm, his company Simulanis has revolutionised learning and pioneered skilling through the use of cutting-edge XR technology and gamified simulations.
 
An alumnus of the University of Manchester and Stanford GSB, Raman has received prestigious accolades, including Intellecap-Aavishkaar Capital's Sankalp Award, KPMG's EnRich Award, WAHStory's 40 Under 40 Transformative Leadership Award, World Innovation Congress' Innovation Leadership Award, HDFC's Tech Innovators Award, and the Atal Achievement Award conferred during the Birth Centenary celebrations of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, erstwhile PM of India. In 2024, Simulanis was featured in Forbes Magazine and selected among the Top 100 Startups by IDFC Bank’s Leap to Unicorn initiative.
 
As a visiting faculty at IIM-A and IIM-C, Raman shares insights on digital transformation using XR and Metaverse technologies, and as a mentor at IIM-U, Atal Incubation Centre - Technology Business Incubator (AIC-TBI), and Meta's XROS fellowship program, mentors’ young startups and founders.
