With over 9 billion metric tons of plastic produced since the 1950s—of which only 9% is recycled—plastic credits emerge as a vital solution to tackle this pressing issue. Each credit represents a project that collects or recycles plastic waste, allowing companies to offset their plastic footprint and work towards sustainability goals.
This session will cover the project development objectives, the establishment of a plastic credits registry, standards for plastic waste reduction, and the verification process for project registration. Together, we can drive sustainability, promote eco-friendly packaging, and support the principles of a circular economy while generating revenue by selling plastic credits.
By joining us for this webinar, you will gain valuable insights into how plastic credits can be a practical and effective way for organisations to offset their plastic footprint and meet sustainability goals.
