Coverage in APN News for TÜV SÜD's recent accreditation of food testing lab in Gurgaon by Export Inspection Council

Mumbai: TÜV SÜD South Asia one of the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification companies in the world has received accreditation for its consumer products testing laboratory in Gurgaon by Export Inspection Council (EIC), today. The accreditation will allow TÜV SÜD South Asia to conduct quality testing procedures on various food items to be exported to every country across the world, including the European Union.

The lab located in the food manufacturing hub of Gurgaon will now be able to ensure that analyses methods meet the predefined standards of importing nations as prescribed by Export Inspection Agencies (EIA). Although the laboratory will carry out tests and quality inspections independently, it will continue to meet the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 for testing and inspection respectively.
