Navigate the demanding requirements of E-mobility
Navigate the demanding requirements of E-mobility
Electric vehicle drives are gaining ground in both hybrid and pure electric vehicles. Voltage peaks of up to 1,000 volts can occur in these drives. Therefore, it is crucial that technicians working in workshops or for automotive manufacturers know how to handle high-voltage systems safely. TÜV SÜD Academy’s online e-mobility courses and qualifications take the demanding requirements of E-Mobility into account.
Depending on requirements and prior knowledge, we provide EV safety training and e-mobility training that familiarizes employees how to carry out non-electrical work on high-voltage systems safely, how to carry out electrical work in the de-energised state, or the specific requirements for live working.
This course, which also covers EV safety training course content, consists of 3 modules that you can register for as a bundle or separately. The e-mobility course content is divided into three levels that cover non-electrical work, electrical work (disconnected) and live working.
Level 1: Sensitisation for Safe Work on Motor Vehicles with HV Systems (E-learning/F2F)
◦ Our practical and online self-learning/ F2F e-mobility training program makes employees aware of the hazards of HV systems and teaches how to provide emergency first aid.
◦ The 45-minute EV safety training course covers various topics like electric current dangers, high voltage system layout, accident prevention measures, technical safeguards, etc. Employees with electrotechnology training, who might deal with automobiles and high voltage systems can take this course. The Level 1 training is also available in a F2F setup. The instructor-led physical Level 1 session would a one day training program.
Level 2: Training as Qualified Electrician for HV Systems in Motor Vehicles
◦ This is a 5-day e-mobility training course that helps you that can help you broaden your abilities as an electrician for vehicle HV systems. The EV safety training course covers topics like engineering work, safety and health for electrical, technical and managerial responsibilities, etc.
◦ People without education in electrical engineering but qualified as mechanics or vehicle electricians, who work on HV systems in powered vehicles, can enroll in this online e-mobility course.
Level 3: Live Working for Qualified Electricians for HV Systems in Motor Vehicles
◦ This one-day e-mobility training course involves logging vehicle measurement data during motor operations in the scope of research and development.
◦ The EV safety training course covers terms in live working, accident statistics, operational organisation, vehicle technology problems, PPE and tools, etc. Automobile electricians, mechatronic engineers, and mechanics, who have completed vocational training as master electricians, electricians, etc., can opt for this course.
This course is specially designed for:
All types of trainings include examination and successful candidates will be awarded participation certificates.
