Privacy Notice

We process your personal data to inform you about products, trade fairs and trade events of the TÜV SÜD legal entities in the fields of engineering, consulting, testing and certification services for the safety, profitability and sustainability of plants, buildings and infrastructure and on testing and inspections due in this area by post and for customer analysis (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). With your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, we will also inform you about the above aspects by email or over the telephone (Section 7, paragraph 2 (2) and (3) UWG (German Unfair Competition Act), Art 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).

If you order products from us or other legal entities of TÜV SÜD or if you visit our trade fairs and trade events, we and the other legal entities of TÜV SÜD or our service providers will process your personal data to carry out the respective legal transaction and for invoicing (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR).

We store your personal data in contracts and pertinent documents for a period of 10 years (Section 147 (3) AO (German Fiscal Code)) and for a period of 6 years in other commercial correspondence and business letters (Section 257 (4) HGB (German Commercial Code)). We process your personal data collected for advertising purposes until you object to such processing or withdraw your consent.

If you have any questions regarding our processing of your personal data, we will, of course, be happy to provide you with information about our processing of your data
(Art 15 GDPR).

If the pertinent legal requirements are fulfilled, the GDPR further gives you the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Finally, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR, Section 19 BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act)).

Your right to object to processing: Should you wish to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes or on the basis of your particular situation, simply send a short note to this effect by email to [email protected] or by post to TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH, IS-GMV-MUC, Westendstraße 199, 80686 München.
