Predictive Maintenance in the Energy and Process Industry

Exchange with experts
Presence Conference or Hybrid Conference

We are currently observing a change in the framework of how we manage facilities, structures, components, and other construction during their lifetime. If maintenance is performed only when needed and not at regular pre-set intervals it can reduce costs, increase the efficiency and increase the residual life. Predictive Maintenance goes along with the increasing digitalization in all industrial sectors.

Based on Big Data, the condition of plants and their components are assessed and the need for their maintenance is identified. The next step is prescriptive maintenance which adapts to the operation of plants and components automatically, so that the maintenance required is optimized.

TÜV SÜD provides with the conference Predictive Maintenance in the Energy and Process Industry a forum where you can gain information on the state of the art and where you have the chance to meet experts from the respective industries in virtual chat rooms as well as in person in Munich. This conference follows the previous TÜV SÜD conference on “Predictive Maintenance” in 2019”, but this year is addressing an international audience and will be held as a hybrid conference.

The main goals are the exchange of practical experiences, different Predictive Maintenance approaches as well as state of the art monitoring, diagnosis and test methods. What is useful and provides cost benefits? How much monitoring makes sense? Which new approaches outperform current maintenance strategies?
